For the first time ever, Bago Maze is opening to the public at night.
Join the volunteers from Port Macquarie Observatory and the team at Bago Maze & Wine for a very special evening under the stars — and experience Bago in a completely different way.
As the sun goes down, explore Australia’s largest hedge maze after dark, gaze through Observatory telescopes and hear fascinating sky stories from the experienced volunteers at Port Macquarie Observatory.
Port Macquarie Observatory is a local volunteer-run organisation, with passionate members sharing their knowledge and love of astronomy with the community. We’re delighted to welcome them to Bago for this unique night.
Make an evening of it
Come early, find a spot and settle in for the evening. The Bago Cellar Door will be open, with Bago wines, drinks and cheese platters available to purchase.
The Port Macquarie Observatory volunteers will also be running a sausage sizzle, or you’re welcome to bring your own picnic.
