There's something lovely about staying a little longer at Bago. Watching the light change over the hills, waking up to the sounds of the farm and having nowhere in particular to be.
Over the school holidays, the Mobbs family decided it was time to put our very own Mountain View Hipcamp site to the test. And what better way to see how it measures up than spending a few nights there ourselves?
A Few Days of Simple Pleasures
We packed up the camping gear, gathered the family and settled in for a few days outdoors.
There were bushwalks through the property, damper cooked over the fire, plenty of exploring for the kids and time to sit around together enjoying the fresh country air.
We even cracked open a bottle of our Centennial Special Release wine. After all these years, it was surprisingly still drinkable, although a little musty! A little piece of Bago history to share around the campsite.
It was a reminder that some of the best family memories come from the simplest moments.
